First Snow
The last week of October we finally got some snow. Last year was the snowiest winter in Anchorage's history and this year, we barely have two inches on the ground. I heard someone say that this time last year we had something like 32" of snow on the ground!

Trunk or Treat
This past weekend we took our niece and nephew to our church's Trunk or Treat event. Folks decorate their car trunks and park in a side parking to for the "trunk-or-treaters" to get some candy and a bunch of games are held inside. We took Jessie the Cowgirl and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story - they had a blast! It was quite chilly out, but it was nice and sunny too! Afterwards, we got to send them home to their parents with lots of candy - being an auntie is so great!

Little Man's 2nd Birthday
This past Saturday was one of my nephew's 2nd birthday party. His mom went all out and threw a "Little Man" party. Everything was mustache and bow tie-themed. All the guests were given bow-ties to wear, the food was themed and the house was decorated to suit - she did such a great job!

Family
For the last few weeks my mom has been in town! The weekend after she arrived we had a small family gathering at our house for dinner. Below are some fun photos from that evening.

The last week Mom was here, Dad flew up to hang out with us. On the way to the airport, we stopped to take some photos at Earthquake Park and Point Woronzoff.
