It's a Marshmallow World in the Winter...

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs, but in Alaska, it applies for many more months than just December.  Except this year.  After the snowiest year on record last year, this winter has been the opposite.  We finally got a nice big dump of that wonderful fluffy whiteness we call snow last week.  It was gorgeous!  Unfortunately, it was after some really warm weather that melted most of the snow, and turned all the roads and driveways into ice rinks.  So that with snow on top was dangerous to say the least.  Friday I finally ventured out and slipped and slid around UAA and APU's campuses to talk some wintry photos.
