We are Graduating!

Last week Andrew walked in his Commencement ceremony - the first in the new Alaska Airlines Center! He is receiving his Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology, with an emphasis in Aviation Management.

I also finished up this month with my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, from the University of Alaska Southeast and will be walking at their Commencement ceremony in May in Juneau.

To celebrate both accomplishments we had a little party to thank our family and friends for all their support over the years.

Double Trouble Turns 30!

This November, Aimee and I turned 30! We went all out and had a big joint-party, with the theme of "Double Trouble" :)

We shared a cake, so it had 60 candles on it! Mom was ready with the fire extinguisher though...

Halloween and a 4K!

This Halloween Aimee talked me into doing a 4K - in the end of October!
It was Halloween-themed, so we dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2 and ran (and walked) the 4K...

That afternoon, Andrew and I went to our church's Trunk or Treat. There folks decorate their trunks and hand out candy in the parking lot, so its a safer alternative to trick-or-treating. We dressed up as Sheldon and Amy Farrah Fowler from CBS's The Big Bang Theory.

That Monday, I took photos at Aimee's Pampered Chef Halloween Bingo - and we dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2 again.

The following week was Halloween, and my office got into the spirit all getting dressed up.

Fall Wedding in Upstate New York

This October my cousin Deanna got married in Upstate New York, so my sister and I flew back East to spend the weekend with our family for the big event!

We got there earlier than most since we had to travel so far, so we went to Saratoga National Cemetery to visit Grandpa and Grandma Gobbo.

That night after everyone arrived, we all went out to dinner to celebrate Dad's birthday.

The wedding was the following day at my Uncle Pete and Aunt Pat's house. They did a wonderful job! It rained during the ceremony, but it sure made it memorable.

The reception was in the barn and was a blast!

After the reception, we all headed back to the hotel to hang out just a little bit longer before everyone went home the next day.

It was a great, but short, time to spend with family and celebrate Deanna and Juan's wedding!

Girls Night Out Progressive Dinner

Back in October all my girlfriends and I went out on a Girls Night Out Progressive Dinner. Yes, it was just what it sounds like - we all got dressed up and went out, just us gals. We then progressed around a shopping center's restaurants for our meal: Olive Garden for appetizers (and drinks), Texas Roadhouse for the main course, and Firetap for dessert! It was a blast!

This fall our church, ACF Church, again coordinated Impact Eagle River. A day where we go out and serve the community, "Showing God's love in a practical way".

This year, our life group volunteered to tear down a chain link fence and build a new cedar fence for a family in Eagle River.

It was a great day serving the community and doing it with our closest friends!
